Working with both children and their parents is an exciting collaborative investigation for me. The obstacles and normative crises that occur in families raising children are not just seen as bumps in the road but also hold essential opportunities: during these times, we can reflect on who we are, what we do, why we do it, and in doing so, we can enrich ourselves and grow on a spiritual level. My clients consider me empathetic, open-minded, and curious. I enjoy co-thinking and believe that by mobilizing the internal resources of my clients, it is my job to help them find the keys to change that already lie within them.

Introduction

At the beginning of my career as a psychologist, I worked for 7 years at the Pedagogical Service, where I received children and their parents from the age of 3 to adolescence. During my work, I participated in both the diagnostic phase and the counseling process. I have been working as a preschool psychologist for 9 years now, in addition to individual counseling, I lead anxiety-relieving story drama groups and hold teacher training courses.

My approach is fundamentally characterized by a system approach, children are members of the narrower family system and wider systems (kindergarten/school, other contemporary communities, residential community), and they mutually influence each other's mental functioning, behavior, and communication. At the same time, the basis of the psychologist's work is always the establishment of an honest, loving, load-bearing relationship. My toolbox subordinated to this general goal is mixed, I work with elements of play therapy, story drama, and cognitive behavioral therapy as needed.

Regular parent consultation is an important supplement to the work with children during individual counseling.
