I first encountered the concept of special education during my high school years. We visited a day care home for adults with disabilities, which had such a profound effect on me that I decided: I also want to become a special education teacher. I obtained my diploma in 2014, and since then I have been dealing with children with special educational needs. I gained my experience mainly in the education and development of children with mild intellectual disabilities, children with partial disabilities, children with a diagnosis of ADHD and a mild degree of autism spectrum disorder. In my classes, I try to represent a holistic approach and to adapt to the needs of the children with a complex special pedagogic development to reach the maximum of their abilities. I consider it very important to create an intimate, loving atmosphere, so I try to create an environment that provides security. I place special emphasis on the development of self-image, self-esteem and self-confidence. Movement development and playfulness are close to my heart, so I always try to sneak these elements into my developments with a little humor.

Introduction

In 2014, I obtained my diploma in special education at the Gyula Juhász Gyula Teacher Training Faculty of the University of Szeged, specializing in the pedagogy of the learning disabled and the pedagogy of the intellectually disabled. Then in 2020, I returned to school again and obtained my master's degree at the Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Physical Education as a teacher of Physical Education. I have been receiving special education students for years, where I try to pass on my experiences and good practices gained during my work during their internships. Since 2014, I have been working as a class teacher in a segregated school in the 13th district, where children with special educational needs attend. I have taught classes from the first grade to the eighth grade, so I have a very wide experience in the field of education. I try to constantly train and develop myself, which I try to tailor to the emerging needs. In 2019, I completed the Dyscalculine course, where I learned about the modern therapy and diagnostics of counting and math skills. I have always paid special attention to movement development, which is why I completed the Complex Movement Therapy Training in 2021 and the Basic Therapy Training in 2023. In order to support the mental health of the students, to develop their emotional intelligence and to develop positive thinking, I completed the course "Learning the theory and methodology of the "happiness hour" in order to develop the emotional intelligence and positive thinking of teachers and students. In my developments, I also incorporate the theoretical knowledge acquired in the training courses and my experiences gained in exercises.
