For me, the sincere curiosity, acceptance and love that emanates from children is incomparable. I have always been attracted to their company, dealing with them, we often "found each other" in the most diverse situations. I believe that the most important goal of my profession as a psychologist is to give children all the help and care I can so that they can become balanced adults, since I am convinced that loving childhood experiences greatly determine their later prosperity.

I believe that when working with children, the functioning of the family system plays a prominent role, so I consider it important to understand and support parents, to think together with them. In addition, I committed myself to helping the children and their parents to develop the miracle of the child's soul and the diverse possibilities inherent in it, in gratitude for the trust placed in me by the children and their parents. In addition, I consider psychoeducation and the promotion of psychological thinking very important, as I often experience misunderstandings and inaccurate opinions about the science of psychology.

Introduction

I completed my psychology studies at the Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, majoring in developmental and clinical child psychology. During the training, it quickly became clear to me that I wanted to work with children and families. In recent years, I have continuously tried to increase my knowledge through voluntary activities, as I believe that it is crucial to seize every opportunity to gain experience already during the university years. My professional identity was founded by the time I spent at the No. 2 Expert Committee Member Institution of the Metropolitan Pedagogical Service, I learned a lot from the professionals here about the work of a psychologist-special teacher, the diagnosis of childhood developmental disorders, the operation of the care system, and problem-solving communication with guardians. For several years, I assisted the Smile Foundation's story therapy, art therapy, and children's psychodrama sessions as a volunteer, where I was able to gain an insight into the therapeutic process with children struggling with chronic or psychosomatic illnesses. All of this confirmed that child psychology is my path, and I want to continue to develop in it. Over the past years, I have been able to work with many Hungarian children living across the border and with Turkish children living in Hungary, thanks to which my interest in cultural diversity has also increased. During university, I was able to study for one semester in the Netherlands, at Leiden University, as part of the Erasmus+ exchange program, which gave me the opportunity to broaden my professional perspective with foreign experiences. As part of my Master's thesis, I researched the emotion regulation of children with ADHD.
