I am an incorrigible idealist and humanist. Accordingly, I chose my profession. According to my experience, it is soothing, liberating, and healing when I approach children with love, acceptance, and understanding. In an atmosphere full of unconditional acceptance, all phenomena become comprehensible.
I started my career at the Sülysápi Family Support Service as a traveling psychologist serving four settlements. This is a relatively difficult area of the profession, but through dealing with many challenges, I gained invaluable experience, and here I committed myself to the family therapy approach and systemic thinking. I deepened my knowledge in the study of learning abilities during my time at the Pedagogical Service in Szigetszentmiklós.

Introduction

In the course of my work, I especially fell in love with the preschool-primary school age group, so in addition to my work as a helper, I have also been working as a preschool psychologist for eight years now. Worried parents most often come to us because of difficulties in working with their children, insecurities affecting social relationships and the balance of their emotional life (e.g. anxiety, difficulties in regulating behavior). Questions related to room cleanliness, eating, sleep/sedation are also common among preschoolers, and phenomena related to fluctuating performance sometimes come to the fore in elementary school age.
To my experience, more than one factor usually plays a role in the appearance of a child's symptoms, and it requires special care to take them into account at the same time. By thinking together, accompanying and supporting parents and teachers, I help them better understand the background of difficulties.

It gives me a great feeling when children have the opportunity to develop a positive view of themselves and the world, and as a result learn to make friends, trust and love for life.

My studies

I completed my psychological studies at the Catholic University of Pázmány Péter in 2007, and then continued with the ELTE Counseling Psychologist training, where I became a counseling psychologist in 2016, trained in a family therapy approach. I also expanded the knowledge I had acquired up to that point with method-specific training materials (leadership of an anxiety group, and the diagnosis and therapeutic approach of ADHD - Vadaskert Foundation).
