"It is an interesting paradox that when I am able to accept myself as I am, then I become able to change." /Carl Rogers/

Already during university, I was committed to working with children and their parents. I believe that every child is valuable, a real treasure, full of hidden resources and abilities. In my work, I consider it important to have regular parent consultations, to think together about difficulties and opportunities. I believe that the most effective way to help children is by working together with parents and working as a team to help them and their families during a developmental conflict. In addition, it is important to exploit the parents' own strengths and explore their resources so that they can be "good enough" parents of their own children.

In working with children, I attribute an important role to art therapy elements, play therapy and music therapy tools. I also believe in the healing and unifying power of humor 😊

We identify the causes of difficulties and blockages with adults in the framework of a dynamic and system-based exploratory conversation and jointly develop alternative patterns of behavior that can be more effective in the present. I also use elements of relaxation, music therapy, and art therapy with adults.

I do my work under regular supervision, I regularly try to further my education and delve into the current literature. In addition, I pay particular attention to my own emotional well-being and mental health in order to develop both professionally and personally and to become an effective assistant to my clients in the joint process.

Introduction

I began my university studies with a BA in psychology at the Károli Gáspár Református University, and then continued with a master's degree in developmental and child psychology at Péter Péter Catholic University, in order to get to know the world of children and adolescents more deeply. In my full-time job, after obtaining my diploma in psychology, I worked for 5 years from 2015 at a professional educational service (previously known as an educational consultant), where I gained rich experience in working with children, adolescents and parents. During the period I spent here, I also performed diagnostic work, and in addition, we held individual psychological counseling, parent consultations, and group sessions. In the meantime, I obtained a music therapist certificate at the University of Pécs, as well as my qualifications in clinical and mental health development and child psychology within the walls of this institution. After my maternity leave, I worked for a short time in the Expert Committee of the Pest County Pedagogical Service, where I did diagnostic work, and I also started my private practice, where I focus on helping children and their parents, as well as young adults.
