Helping professions became the focus of my career choice. In the case of this area, I felt the most that I could become useful to my fellow humans.
During my six-month internship, I came into direct contact with children and adolescents living with autism spectrum disorders for the first time. My experiences at that time were a milestone in my career, because it was then that I realized that in their presence I felt the delicate quality and special way of connection that I had always wanted to experience in a helping relationship.
Later, I set myself the goal of providing psychological support with special methods not only to children living with autism, but also to their families. In my work, the system approach has been the guiding principle ever since.

Introduction

Since 2015, I have been supporting children and adolescents with special educational needs in co-education, in an integrative educational environment, in the hope of effective and successful integration. In particular, I provide special pedagogic development sessions for high-functioning, high-school and high-school students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD - Asperger's syndrome) and, to a lesser extent, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). My main goal is to develop individual abilities in the most effective way, to find a place in social situations and to achieve successful integration into society.
As a mental health support specialist, I have been holding non-directive support conversation series in accordance with the person-centered approach of Carl Rogers for several years and I lead supportive mental health parenting groups in the I., II. and XII. districts for parents of students with special needs. The spiritual need of parents is often expressed, how expedient and reassuring it would be if they could talk about the spiritual difficulties arising from their lives, as well as how they need supportive relationships, because they are often left alone, even within the family, with the burden of life situations that are constantly waiting for a solution. I have experienced that the majority of parents only prioritize the child's well-being, thus neglecting their own mental health. Few parents are given the opportunity to give themselves more time and energy to consult about their mental state. Participation in a supportive mental health parenting group can help: it reduces the parent's social isolation, provides emotional support, provides a basis for comparison (comparing one's own internal emotional and spiritual state with the reactions, motivations, and experiences of others), provides an opportunity for mutual practical assistance, promotes the exchange of information, and strengthens the confidence.

In 2023, I became a story therapy specialist. With the method called Intermodal Storytelling Psychology, I offer a new psychological tool for parents of children and adolescents in individual or group form, should they undertake inner work. How can storytelling help? In the strengthening of decision-making abilities, in the correct functioning of life roles, in the appropriate emotional and behavioral management of life situations and crises involving changes, and in the development of problem-solving skills. Experiencing a fairy tale is a sublime ceremony that gives us a glimpse into universal laws as well as our own physical and mental blockages. It dissolves the loneliness of the separate self, because it makes us recognize our place in the world. The scene of the tale is our inner world. Its characteristic shapes, the archetypes of the collective unconscious, are reflections of our own states of consciousness.
